The Global Trusted Identity Foundation (GTiDF) is a non-profit organisation established in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, dedicated to advancing trusted digital identity frameworks that empower secure, interoperable, and privacy-preserving participation across the global digital world.

GTiDF was founded on a fundamental conviction: that the future of the digital economy depends not only on technological innovation, but on the integrity and trustworthiness of the identity systems that underpin it. We exist to provide that layer of institutional credibility — neutral, principled, and independent.

GTiDF is committed to public education on two fronts: helping people understand what digital trust means in everyday life, and guiding them on how to use trusted digital identity safely and responsibly. In an age where AI-driven fraud is rising, informed citizens are the strongest line of defence.

A government-registered charitable organisation (NGO) with international recognition, GTiDF bridges the gap between governance and technology, offering authoritative oversight for digital identity initiatives that require cross-border legitimacy and stakeholder confidence.

To address these global challenges, GTiDF actively aligns with and supports national and international governance initiatives—such as the PRC’s national framework on AI Agent Identity Credentials and Accountability. We are committed to solving key challenges in ownership binding, entity authentication, liability allocation, and cross-border compliance, ensuring that AI technologies operate under a verifiable, traceable, and legal framework.

As an independent, non-profit organization, GTiDF works tirelessly across three core pillars:

• Build Bridges & Support Education: Uniting communities, governments, and global innovators to establish ethical standards, while advancing public education to make digital safety accessible to all.
